This is a custom project that is a combination of photos and videos. The outline below will help you put your project together. We accept hard copy photos, Photos on CD, VHS, and Mini-DV. All media WILL be returned to the customer. Our preference is to receive hard copy photos, not photos on CD. To keep the media in order, ALL formats must have an Avery-type self-stick dot with a number written on the back for identification purposes. Please avoid writing directly on the back of photos as this transfers onto the photos beneath it. Photos on CD must be named with a number, too. I have found the following process is the best way to number media. Photos should have the number of the chapter PLUS a number for the photo which indicates the order in which you would like the photos to appear. For example: Chapter 1 photos would have stickers that look like this… 1-1, 1-2, 1-3, 1-4, etc. The first 1 represents the chapter and the –1 represents the picture order. If photos are submitted late, you can easily insert the photo where needed by using a letter much like you would put together an outline. Example: Photos were submitted and numbered. A photo is turned in “late” and needs to be placed BETWEEN photos 2 and 3 in chapter 1. You would number the “late” photo as 1-2a. And now the stack of photos looks like this: 1-1, 1-2, 1-2a, 1-3, 1-4, etc. To label videos, follow the same process, but use the letter “V” for video. Example: 2-V1 means Chapter 2 and the segment is on Video #1. Music will be identified using the name of the song. Four seconds viewing per photo is typical, so this will give you an idea of how many photos you can collect. A 90-minute Memory Yearbook on DVD with no video clips could take approx. 1200 pictures (although the math says 1350 photos, we need room to “build” the production). The following is an example of various school projects, but personal projects follow the same theory. The process is very relaxed and easy. Song suggestions to customize your photo slideshow Pricing
